Objectives
· Upgrading the equipment, tools, and scientific and research facilities
· Developing science literacy by increasing in production of prestigious internal (national) and international articles
· Conducting the research required for society health
· Establishing proper infrastructures for conducting clinical and basic research related to NCDs
· Conducting the basic research to produce science and help resolve regional and international problems related to NCDs
· Performing research-driven activities with other research and educational centers of different countries and international organizations in the form of joint projects at the national and international levels and helping researchers with finding grant opportunities
· Creating motivate conditions for training and employing appropriate and skilled human resources to ensure the control of NCDs
· Expanding the knowledge boundaries in the society (including faculty members, students, and individuals in the society)
· Generating knowledge and technology in the fight against NCDs such as molecular diseases and cancer
· Developing health information and healthcare systems
· Designing, planning, and conducting the basic epidemiological and clinical research to correct the perspective in providing health services to respond to the needs of society
· Collecting, organizing, and classifying the health-related documents and publishing them
· Developing the new treatment approaches to NCDs
· Raising the priority of NCDs at different levels and integrating the prevention and control strategies of these diseases into policies across all government departments
